In the final days of May, individuals who share a common commitment to supporting children’s development came together to connect, listen, and learn at the in-person seminar, \u201cHelping Children Understand Their Bodies & Regulate Their Emotions.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Special Em\u2019s Education Center\u00a0(SEEC) and Yoga Planet were truly honored to welcome parents and participants to our center\u2014a place that continues to support children every day as they grow, develop, and thrive in their own unique ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar began with a presentation by Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Dung, Academic Director of SEEC, who shared professional insights into recognizing children’s emotional and psychological needs through their everyday behaviors.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/td>\n\"\"<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Her session offered parents valuable perspectives on understanding the needs behind their children’s actions and how to support them in developing emotional regulation skills. After all, when adults feel calm and emotionally grounded, children are more likely to feel safe and secure in their own developmental journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program continued with an interactive experiential session led by Ms. Vu Thi Kieu Oanh, Founder of Yoga Planet. Through the Storytelling Yoga approach, participants explored engaging stories combined with simple yoga movements, breathing exercises, and interactive activities designed for both parents and children.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This experience introduced one of the most fundamental tools for emotional regulation\u2014breath. By learning how to connect with and manage their breathing, both adults and children can strengthen their ability to self-regulate emotions more effectively in everyday life.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar concluded with an engaging and open Q&A session between parents and the two experts. Questions, concerns, and challenges encountered throughout the journey of supporting children were openly shared and thoughtfully addressed through professional insights and practical recommendations. This session not only provided parents with valuable guidance for specific situations but also created an opportunity for participants to learn from one another, build connections, and foster greater understanding. The sincere and meaningful exchanges during the Q&A session helped bring the seminar to a thoughtful and fulfilling close.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly two hours of learning and sharing together created many meaningful moments\u2014from smiles and heartfelt conversations to genuine connections among participating families. The seminar not only provided professional knowledge but also offered parents the opportunity to experience practical strategies that can be applied at home with their children.<\/span><\/p>\n
