\nIn special education, even the smallest change can sometimes be a sign of meaningful progress. Recognising these moments requires a teacher to be patient enough to observe, attentive enough to listen, and detail-oriented enough to notice every change in a child.<\/p>\n
This is also how Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen, a Special Education Teacher at Special Em\u2019s Education Center (SEEC), chooses to support the children in her care. With 3 years of experience in Special Education and Child Development Support, Ms. Yen earned a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Psychology from Van Lang University in 2024 and has received training in behavioral and emotional intervention, as well as language and social skills development for children on the autism spectrum.<\/p>\n
Ms. Yen has experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays, children with ADHD, intellectual disabilities, language delays, and other developmental needs, particularly during the preschool years. She has been trained in and applies approaches and tools such as IBT, ABA, PECS, and behavioral observation in her work with children.<\/p>\n

One of Ms. Yen\u2019s strengths is her clarity, meticulousness, and attention to detail. She takes time to observe carefully before drawing conclusions, monitors even the smallest changes, and thoughtfully designs activities that are appropriate for each child\u2019s abilities.
\nFor her, patience does not mean simply waiting passively. It means giving children enough time while continuing to actively observe, adjust, and find the most appropriate ways to support them.<\/p>\n
She believes that every child develops at their own pace. Rather than rushing to compare, adults should observe more closely, provide support that is better suited to each child, and recognise even the smallest signs of progress.<\/p>\n
At SEEC, Ms. Yen continues to bring her attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and patience into every intervention activity, ensuring that each step forward is seen, acknowledged, and supported at the right time.
