#MeetTheTeacherAtSEEC | Meet the educator who never stops learning to better support every child at Special Em’s

For children with special rights, the period before entering primary school is an important time to build the skills needed for learning and inclusion. This is also an area that Mr. Khoa Vo is particularly passionate about throughout his work at Special Em’s Education Center (SEEC).

Graduating with a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2025, Mr. Khoa is currently a Teacher at SEEC Go Vap. With experience supporting children with autism, speech and language delays, and other developmental challenges—particularly children aged 5–7—he specializes in Pre-primary Intervention, helping children develop the essential skills they need to gradually adapt to and become ready for the school environment.

Committed to continuously strengthening his professional knowledge, Mr. Khoa has completed IBT training and received training in assessment tools such as YCAT and PEP-3. His background in Educational Psychology, combined with his commitment to continuous learning, allows him to better understand each child’s individual characteristics and identify approaches that are appropriate for their needs.

For Mr. Khoa, patience, perseverance, acceptance, and love are essential when supporting children. He believes that every child experiences and understands the world in their own way, and that adults need to slow down and observe patiently in order to understand them rather than rushing to judge their behavior. Witnessing children’s progress day by day is also what motivates him to remain committed to his work.

At SEEC, Mr. Khoa continues to apply his expertise in Educational Psychology and Pre-primary Intervention, supporting children as they develop essential skills, build confidence, and prepare for their next learning milestones. To him, every step forward—big or small—is a meaningful achievement worth celebrating.
