Grand Opening of Special Em’s Education Group (SEEG)
29th March 2023 marked the Grand Opening of a new educational campus for special rights children in HCMC, located at 15 Tu Xuong street, Vo Thi Sau ward, district 3, under the management of Special Em’s Education Group (SEEG), including Special Em’s Education Center (SEEC) and Vietnamese International Clinic for Autism (VICA).
Thriving to become the ‘second home’ for special rights children, 15 Tu Xuong campus was designed based on UNESCO’s three criteria for a happiness school, including: People – Process – Place. At SEEC and VICA campus, special rights children are offered a safe, comfortable, and peaceful environment to grow, so that they are encouraged to come to school with excitement, happiness, and eagerness to explore the world around them.
“When seeing children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) being treated equally and valued by their community in many developed countries, Thanh realized that in Vietnam there needs to be a lot of work in raising awareness of ASD to help improve the lives of special rights children and their families. Parents of children with ASD need a lot of support to overcome the difficulties they face, especially with the fear that their child is ‘different’. Many unfortunate cases have happened, when parents are not aware or even try to hide the condition of the child’s ASD, causing such a negative consequence of missing the chance for early intervention and development for their child.” Shared by Mr. Thanh Bui.
The beginning of a meaningful journey to build a brighter future for special rights children
The Grand Opening of 15 Tu Xuong campus marks the beginning of a journey to build a brighter future for special rights children and their families in Vietnam.
The new campus is about 1000 square meters, has more than 20 functional classrooms and outdoor activity areas to support holistic development of our special rights children. Here, children are encouraged and supported to freely express themselves and showcase their skills, with the help and guidance from a professional and experienced team of experts and educators in the special education industry.
In addition, SEEG dedicates to creating specific learning paths and promoting holistic development for all special rights children. Learning through playing is scientifically designed to help children with creativity, communication, expression, as well as improving their knowledge in all subjects.
Special Em’s Education Group (SEEG), including Special Em’s Education Center (SEEC) and Vietnamese International Clinic for Autism (VICA), aim to build a solid educational foundation and create developmental opportunities for special rights children in Vietnam.
