In special education, the early years are a golden window for building the foundations of language, communication, and learning. When children receive the right support early on, intervention not only helps them develop essential skills but also lays the groundwork for successful inclusion in the future.

With five years of experience in special education, Ms. Le Thi Nga is an Intervention Teacher at Special Em’s Education Center (SEEC). She has extensive experience working with children aged 0–6, specializing in individualized intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder, language and communication development, self-help and adaptive skills, and designing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Graduating with a degree in Special Education from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Ms. Nga continuously expands her professional expertise through advanced training, including The Autism Certificate (IBCCES), language and social skills development for children with autism, assessment, intervention planning, and teaching techniques, along with other evidence-informed approaches that support children’s holistic development. She also plays an active role in developing SEEC’s Pre-Primary Program, helping design learning experiences that prepare children for a successful transition into primary school.

For Ms. Nga, meaningful intervention begins with understanding, compassion, patience, and respecting each child’s individuality. She believes that every child develops at their own pace and, with the right support, can gradually reach their full potential.

One of the most meaningful experiences in her career was supporting a young boy who began intervention at just 18 months old. Beyond focusing on the child’s language, communication, and behavioral development, Ms. Nga worked closely with the family to build a consistent approach to supporting him.

Through early intervention, the child made remarkable progress in communication and social interaction and today is able to participate alongside his peers in approximately 80% of classroom and daily activities. For Ms. Nga, successful intervention is measured not only by a child’s progress but also by the positive transformation of the entire family’s journey together.

At Special Em’s, Ms. Nga continues to apply her strengths in individualized intervention and Pre-Primary program development, combining professional expertise, dedication, and a collaborative approach to help children build essential skills, develop confidence, and prepare for the important milestones ahead.
