#MeetTheTeacherAtSEEC | Meet the teacher who always looks beyond differences to discover every child’s potential at Special Em’s

Every child with special educational needs has their own abilities, needs, and pace of development. Rather than focusing solely on their challenges, understanding and recognizing the potential behind each difference is the first step toward creating a meaningful and individualized support journey.

With 3 years of experience in special education, Ms. Trang Vo is currently an Individual Intervention Teacher at Special Em’s Education Center (SEEC) Go Vap. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Labour and Social Affairs and has experience supporting children with special educational needs aged 2–10.

Ms. Trang’s areas of expertise include assessment, individualized intervention planning, and designing intervention, learning, and skill-development activities tailored to each child. Committed to continuously developing her professional expertise, Ms. Trang has completed training in Early Intervention, Pre-primary Intervention, speech and language therapy for children with autism and speech delays, as well as programs focused on preparing children with autism and speech delays for inclusion in primary school. She has also received training in TEST DENVER II, a developmental screening tool for young children. Currently, one of her key areas of professional interest is supporting children with autism in overcoming challenges in social interaction.

For Ms. Trang, love, patience, and understanding are the foundation of supporting every child. She believes that every child has the potential to develop when provided with timely and appropriate support, as well as opportunities to build on their strengths. Since every child has their own way of learning and exploring the world, differences should never become limitations to what they can achieve.
What keeps Ms. Trang committed to her profession is witnessing changes that may seem small but carry great meaning: a child learning to take care of themselves, answer a question, or confidently step beyond her arms to explore the world. To her, every step forward is a meaningful milestone and a reflection of the potential that continues to unfold.

She also believes that intervention is a journey that requires close collaboration between families and professionals. Parents can support their child by respecting their differences, creating opportunities and environments for practice, and consistently accompanying them in everyday life. As Ms. Trang believes, parents are a child’s first teachers.

At SEEC, Ms. Trang continues to apply her expertise in individual intervention while continuously learning and developing professionally. With her approachable, responsible, and learning-oriented spirit, she hopes that every day spent supporting children will be an opportunity to discover a new ability and help each child move closer to greater independence, confidence, and inclusion.
